How many of these phrases sound familiar?
I’m not the therapy type
Innerworth Psychology provides a roadmap for change to fit within each client’s current life structure. It’s often therapy for “not the therapy type,” a group that includes busy professionals or anyone who feels like they don’t have time and those people who “don’t do feelings.”
These people are often described as high-achievers, goal focused, outcome based, or highly driven workaholics with long hours always jumping to the next task to cross off the never-ended list. Yet, these people are frequently seeking more satisfaction out of their lives.

At Innerworth Psychology, we offer solution-focused strategies to co-create achievable milestones that allow you to work with your challenges, not against them.
Having someone to hold you accountable and look at situation from different perspectives can be the change needed to know yourself better, create more meaningful connections, and enhance your life.
Maybe you’ve had therapy in the past and want to re-engage. Or, maybe you “feel okay” but know there is something missing or more you could be achieving if you just identify and overcome this unseen barrier.
Either way, we are focused on helping you capture what you need and create a plan to get you where you want to be. Not sure what that is? We can help uncover that, too.
ADHD
“Why do I start so many things but can’t seem to finish them?”
“I get super enthusiastic about new interests and then lose that interest just as quickly.”
“I am either too focused or can’t seem to focus at all. It feels like I have 100 browser tabs open in my brain all the time.”
“Often I lose all track of time. Tasks take longer than expected or I don’t give myself enough time. I can’t plan out time and am constantly running late or super early.”
“I feel overwhelmed. Life and work used to feel easy, but now every day feels like a challenge. How can such a simple task feel harder than climbing Mt. Everest?”
These types of thoughts and feelings can lead to feelings of anxiety and internalized shame and guilt. This can become a cycle that prohibits you from achieving what you want out of life.
You’re intelligent, capable, and deserving of success. Perhaps there is an underlying reason you are feeling the way you’ve been feeling. At Innerworth Psychology, we help uncover the root of the “why” in order to create the “how.”
Many of the statements above are commonly heard from adults who have never been diagnosed with ADHD. They’ve spent a lifetime trying to figure out the “how” without understanding the “why.” Good news for those people- there are evidence-based, clinically validated tests utilized to assess and diagnose adult ADHD. Once it’s identified, we can then implement strategies to control it. And if ADHD isn’t the “why”, then we continue exploring other reasons for these struggles in order to personalize a plan to get you where you want to be.
Individual & Couples Therapy
SFBT principles are applied to both individual and couples therapy.
A common question: “Do I/we need to be “in crisis” or have “big” issues to benefit from therapy?” The answer is absolutely not. Many individuals and couples find benefits from therapy focused on enrichment, growth, and increased awareness and understanding.
